Workshops and Programs
We offer a number of workshops and programs focused on supporting women (and parents more generally) specifically through the perinatal phase. These will be updated on this page as they are confirmed.
Circle of Security® Parenting Program
The Circle of Security® Parenting program is based on 50 years of research about how secure parent-child relationships can be supported and strengthened, and how this type of early intervention can effect outcomes for the child across their lifespan.
The principles help you set the foundations for healthy, emotionally open relationships that apply across your child’s whole life. This has a significant impact on a child’s mental health later in life, increases their ability to regulate their emotions and has the potential to influence the relationship your children have with their own children.
Nurturing Women Psychology runs the 8 week circle of security parenting program (in seven weekly sessions) multiple times a year, with a minimum of 6 parents registered to attend. Places are limited to 10 parents, and a commitment to attend all seven sessions is required to register (make up sessions may be possible if you miss 1-2 sessions, at an additional cost).
Fees are applicable to attend, and start from $60 per person per weekly session (Medicare rebates may be available which would reduce out of pocket costs to approximately $15 per session).
Please complete the form below or contact us at tanya.bowe@outlook.com.au to register your interest and for further information about fees and Medicare rebates. Expressions of interest are open for:
